Gold up 47%, Bitcoin awakens

Gold and silver are breaking records, while Bitcoin is returning above the $114,000 mark. Markets are soaring into the stratosphere, but the question remains how long this trend will last.

Gold and silver in the spotlight

Since the beginning of 2025, the price of gold has risen by more than 47%, a growth rate not seen in decades. In September alone, gold strengthened by more than 10%, confirming strong demand and limited supply. However, such growth is unsustainable in the long term, and history shows that sharp rises are often followed by corrections.

Silver joined the growth with a slight delay. The price is approaching the highs of 2011, and investors expect them to be broken. Nevertheless, it should be borne in mind that we are also in the late stages of the growth cycle here. In the long term, however, silver remains attractive due to its industrial use and role in portfolio diversification.

Bitcoin on the verge of a decision

Bitcoin has once again surpassed the USD 114,000 mark, yet it has been stagnating for three months. The question is whether this is a re-accumulation before a breakthrough to new highs or a distribution before a deeper decline. A key signal for further growth would be a strong green candle on the monthly chart, which is currently missing.

Several factors will play a role by the end of the year—falling interest rates, the risk of a return of inflation, and a weaker labor market. These influences can significantly affect not only Bitcoin, but also precious metals and stock markets. Companies such as Barrick Gold are therefore facing an extremely volatile environment, which could mean both record profits and unexpected corrections. The end of the year thus promises to be very interesting.
