Bitcoin and stocks are rebounding from their lows, but will it be enough?

The markets have had an extremely volatile end to the week. Bitcoin, stocks, and gold initially fell, but it seems that there could be a recovery in the new week. Selling pressure has weakened and the market has wiped out highly leveraged speculators. Now it seems that the period of uncertainty could be over—at least for now.

What the market and investors are suggesting

Bitcoin briefly deepened its declines, but essentially only tested the same local low. Weakening selling pressure is creating room for buyers to return and thus for potential growth. BITmarkets analysts point out that the current environment is conducive to a short-term trend reversal, although long-term sustainability remains uncertain.

Similarly, stock markets have been oscillating since October 10, but fundamentals do not yet indicate that a major decline is imminent. Risks remain high, asset valuations are stretched, and the safety cushion is disappearing. Nevertheless, there are also positive signals that are worth paying attention to.

Fed eases tensions, bitcoin rises above $110,000

US Fed Chairman Jerome Powell has indicated that quantitative tightening (QT) is coming to an end. This could mean an easing of financial conditions, a decline in government bond yields, and, to some extent, support for risk assets, including stocks and cryptocurrencies.

Bitcoin is holding above $110,000 and remains in a sideways range. Buyers are defending key levels and showing the first signs of new momentum. The question remains how long this growth can last and whether the current bullish phase, which began at the end of 2022, has not yet run its course. If the current sentiment can be maintained and market yields actually begin to fall, Bitcoin, along with stocks, could benefit from the Fed’s more relaxed policy. For investors, this could mean a return of optimism and a new opportunity to enter the market, but only for those who are prepared to cope with further possible fluctuations, which are simply part and parcel of modern markets.
