Bitcoin has been treading water for quite some time without a clear direction, and the market is in a phase where neither buyers nor sellers can gain significant advantage. However, the current consolidation won’t last forever. One of the most important levels remains $57,600, as breaking through it could disrupt the current balance and open space for more significant movement. At the same time, attention is focused on resistances above the current price, whose breakthrough would instead strengthen the bullish scenario.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The market is gathering strength within a multi-month consolidation<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Bitcoin is trading near $64,000 and continues to remain in the upper part of a broader price range. At first glance, prolonged sideways trading may seem uninteresting, but in reality it shows a period of balanced struggle between supply and demand. Buyers<\/a> are so far able to catch declines, while sellers reappear in the market during rallies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A more significant upward move is further complicated by a band of moving averages. The 100-day average sits around $67,400 and the 200-day near $69,800. This area represents the first major obstacle. Until bitcoin<\/a> convincingly returns above it and the rise is supported by higher volumes, current upward movements cannot automatically be considered the beginning of a new uptrend.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The $57,600 boundary may separate consolidation from capitulation<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

On the opposite side of the market stands the area around $57,600. From an on-chain data perspective, this is an important level associated with the realized price of the market<\/a>, which is the approximate average price at which investors historically acquired their bitcoins. If the price were to fall below this boundary, it would be a more significant sign of weakening sentiment and increasing pressure on BTC holders.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Further sell-off could direct the price toward the area around $52,000 to $50,000, or even down to $48,000. However, a sharper decline could simultaneously accelerate the search for a longer-term bottom and open space for a new accumulation phase. The bullish scenario would instead gain more weight with a return above the moving averages and subsequent breakthrough of approximately $72,000. Similar price levels and changes in market sentiment are also tracked by analytical firms such as CryptoQuant<\/a>, which focuses on on-chain data and investor behavior. Therefore, what will be decisive is not only which boundary bitcoin breaks through, but also the strength of volumes and the market’s reaction after the breakthrough itself.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
