Bitcoin may have entered a phase where the $60,000 mark is becoming a new longer-term price floor, according to Alex Svanevik, founder of analytics firm Nansen. His optimism is not based solely on price developments. He considers more important the transformation of the entire cryptocurrency market, which is increasingly interconnecting with traditional finance and real assets.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The $60,000 threshold may be Bitcoin’s new floor<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Svanevik expects that Bitcoin’s return below $60,000 may no longer occur. Although this is only his personal estimate, he considers this price area a possible lower boundary of the current market cycle. According to him, Bitcoin continues to benefit from its position as an asset that some investors<\/a> use as an alternative to traditional money and as protection against its long-term devaluation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

However, price development itself is not the main argument for his positive outlook. As of August 10, 2026, Bitcoin<\/a> had strengthened by approximately two percent over the previous thirty days, but Svanevik points rather to structural market changes. According to him, cryptocurrencies are gradually becoming infrastructure through which an increasingly broader range of financial assets can be traded and managed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Crypto is moving away from pure speculation toward real assets<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

According to the head of Nansen, the cryptocurrency sector is slowly moving away from a period dominated primarily by new tokens, rapid speculation, and projects existing exclusively within the crypto world. Tokenized stocks<\/a>, indices, and other products linked to traditional financial markets are gaining increasing attention. According to him, this trend is also evident in the growth of platforms that connect blockchain infrastructure with traditional investment instruments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It is precisely this change that may be more important for Bitcoin’s future development than short-term price fluctuations. If blockchains increasingly function as a technological layer for stocks, indices, and other assets, the cryptocurrency market may move closer to the traditional financial system. The development of similar trends is monitored not only by Nansen through blockchain data, but also by a number of other firms in the industry, such as Coinbase<\/a>, which operates its own cryptocurrency platform and web services for users and institutions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
