One of the most well-known sentiment indicators, the Bitcoin Rainbow Chart, shows an exceptionally wide price range for the end of May 2026, from roughly $59,000 to nearly $491,000. This is not a precise prediction, but rather an indicative model based on Bitcoin’s historical cycles and the logarithmic development of its price.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Rainbow Chart shows whether Bitcoin is cheap, fairly priced, or overheated<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The Bitcoin Rainbow Chart is among the popular long-term tools that investors use to read the broader market<\/a> sentiment. The model works with colored bands that indicate whether Bitcoin is historically in an area of fear, accumulation, fair valuation, euphoria, or speculative bubble. The lower parts of the chart typically refer to periods of significant undervaluation, while the upper bands warn of possible market overheating. The current projection for May 31, 2026 suggests that Bitcoin could theoretically oscillate within an extremely wide range according to this model.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The lowest band, labeled “Basically a Fire Sale,” assumes a price<\/a> around $59,136. The “BUY!” zone is positioned at approximately $79,604 according to the model, and the “Accumulate” band at around $102,629. Bitcoin is currently lower, but the technical picture remains mixed<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Bitcoin<\/a> was trading at approximately $78,700, which places it in the lower to lower-middle section of the Rainbow Chart model. If the price were to move only into the “BUY!” band during the next year, it would represent only a modest increase from current values. A stronger scenario would mean a return to the “Accumulate” or “Still cheap” areas, roughly between $102,000 and $132,000. In the case of a more pronounced bullish phase, Bitcoin could reach above $173,000 according to the model, while an extremely speculative development would open up space above $220,000.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Technical indicators do not yet offer a clear signal. Bitcoin held above the 50-day simple moving average around $72,359, which supports a more stable short-term trend. However, it was still trading below the 200-day SMA near $84,046, so the long-term bullish trend has not yet been fully confirmed. The RSI on the four-hour chart reached a value of 62.53 points, indicating neutral to slightly bullish momentum without significant overbought conditions. The Rainbow Chart thus remains more of a psychological market map than a guide for precise buying or selling timing.
