Bitcoin ignores warnings<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The price of bitcoin<\/a> is currently holding above the $70,000 mark, despite technical analysis pointing to a so-called bearish flag formation. This typically signals a continuation of decline and potential drop below $50,000. However, the market is rejecting this scenario for now, partly due to short-term impulses such as geopolitical easing between the US<\/a> and Iran, which helped BTC rise above $71,000.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A crucial role is being played by Strategy<\/a>, which has purchased 46,233 BTC since the beginning of March, while miners in the same period produced only around 16,200 BTC. In other words, a single company has absorbed nearly three times the new supply. This factor is precisely what disrupts classical technical scenarios, because bearish formations typically work only when strong demand is absent from the market.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

STRC under pressure! Will a breakthrough decide, or return to growth?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The key instrument of this strategy is the product STRC, a variable-rate preferred share<\/a>, through which the company obtains capital for further bitcoin purchases. As long as its price holds around the nominal value of $100 or higher, Strategy can continue issuing and strengthening its positions. A drop below this threshold, however, has slowed the pace of financing and shown that the model has its limitations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Further developments will therefore depend primarily on whether bitcoin can break through the upper boundary of the current formation. If the price were to stabilize above the middle band of $70,000, the technical bearish scenario would cease to apply and the market could again target levels around $108,000 to $110,000. At the time of writing, bitcoin was trading at approximately $71,227.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
