However, when the grid faces a shortage, they can shut down in a short time and &#8220;release&#8221; the electricity elsewhere.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">According to a report by the Digital Assets Research Institute this week, this model has saved Texas approximately $18 billion. We have standard procedures for seasonal changes, such as winterizing pipes.
