During his campaign, Trump promised to create strategic reserves of bitcoin and support its domestic mining so that the United States would become a global center for this technology.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Bitcoin fluctuates according to market sentiment and Trump&#8217;s policies<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On the day of Trump&#8217;s inauguration, January 20, the price of bitcoin climbed to a record high of more than USD 109,000. However, it later fell sharply, partly due to concerns about Trump&#8217;s <a href=\"https:\/\/trader-magazine.com\/news\/ec-wants-to-remove-small-parcel-exemption-from-customs-duties-it-will-fall-on-temu-or-shein\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">tariff<\/a> policy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>&#8220;Now that the United States seems to be more reasonable and is signing agreements with other countries, cryptocurrencies are on the rise again,&#8221;<\/strong> said St\u00e9phane Ifrah, an analyst at Coinhouse, according to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.afp.com\/en\">AFP<\/a>.
