Payment giant PayPal<\/a> has announced that it will offer a 3.7% yield on funds held in its stablecoin PayPal USD (PYUSD). Rewards will accrue daily and be paid out monthly. The aim is to encourage businesses in particular to make greater use of stablecoins<\/a> in everyday transactions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This move comes at a time when PYUSD’s market capitalization has fallen from USD 1 billion to USD 873.3 million. PayPal hopes that the introduction of returns will attract new users and increase the stability of this digital currency.
