The majority of cryptocurrency holders believe that Bitcoin will reach or surpass $200,000 in 2025. This sentiment was shared by 58% of respondents in an international survey conducted by the cryptocurrency exchange BITmarkets<\/a>. Conversely, 18% disagreed, while nearly a quarter (24%) admitted they were unsure. A total of 1,685 participants from 58 countries took part in the survey.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Among Czech cryptocurrency holders, 252 of whom voted on the BITmarkets platform, the outlook was slightly more skeptical, with 49% believing in Bitcoin reaching $200,000. Conversely, 24% expressed disbelief, a higher percentage than the global average.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Slovak cryptocurrency holders, with 163 participants on the BITmarkets platform, were among the most skeptical, with only 46% expecting Bitcoin to reach $200,000. Similarly, a higher-than-average share of 23% doubted this possibility.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hungarian cryptocurrency holders, represented by 196 participants, were slightly more optimistic, with 52% believing in Bitcoin’s potential to reach $200,000. Again, 23% disagreed, which is above the global average.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cCryptocurrency users are riding a wave of optimism in 2024. Bitcoin continues to break records, fueling investor confidence that its value could double within a year. After all, Bitcoin’s growth this year has been remarkable, rising from around $43,000,\u201d commented Peter Sumer, CEO of BITmarkets. He added his outlook for 2025: \u201cFor well-established cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin, we anticipate stable long-term growth. This is driven by its capped supply\u2014acting as an anti-inflationary mechanism\u2014along with its role as a universal currency and an investment and trading asset. However, this does not rule out short- and medium-term price fluctuations, which remain possible in 2025.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
